Wetland Delineation and Determination, Resource Protection Area Assessment, Perennial Stream Assessment
Description: We delineated wetlands using the 1987 Corps Wetland Delineation Manual and the Chesapeake Bay Preservation Area Guidance as stated in 9VAC 10-20-80D, and site-specific determination pursuant to 9VAC 10-20-105. Assessment for the bordering perennial waterbodies was conducted using the Fairfax County, Perennial Stream Field Identification Protocol. We also completed GIS data collection according to the USACE, Norfolk District, policy statement CENAO-CO-R, and mapping for perennial streams and wetland types. Wetland and stream determination GIS datasets and corresponding attribute tables were set up to be compatible with the federal NWI dataset and data were submitted to the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality.
